Jeff Jackel is a designer and creative entrepreneur working out of Southern California.  His focus has been graphic art and apparel design in recent years, though his approach to these mediums comes from a rich background in filmmaking, creative branding, and business development/consultancy.

Apparel is in Jeff’s blood, as his dad spent the 80’s and 90’s running SoCal clothing companies like Hang Ten, Sideout, and Ocean Pacific – where Jeff spent time in the design rooms working on art and learning the creative process first hand.  After studying Cinematic Arts at USC Film School, Jeff directed and produced several films before partnering with an Atlanta-based marketing firm to launch a branded-entertainment company.  These days, Jeff is designer and co-owner of Hozell Clothing, a thriving apparel brand with roots in leisure and coastal lifestyle.   With such a unique and varied background, Jeff’s goal is to fuse these opposing worlds to create freshness and individuality with his art and design work as applied to a number of different mediums.
